Loose Change

Have you wished on something recently? An eyelash? A birthday candle? A shooting star? A tossed coin in a pond? When you get that spontaneous second to make a wish, what is it you wish for? It may be a silly thing to do; to put your hearts desires into the hands of the cosmic universe. But why else would you do it except for one obscure reason; maybe it could work. A star shoots across the sky and your mind races through thousands of hopes and desires...but you have to choose just one. Your first instinct will tell you what it is that you really want at that very moment...chances are it's not for a new car.

We are human. We all want the fancy house, a pimped out Mercedes, a cushy yacht, and an indisposable bank account. However, life has so much value over any material being, so when it comes to wishing our minds open up beyond the obvious and instead we choose something that really matters in life. This fascinates me. We can dwell over how much we need a bigger house but when it comes down to the possibility of wishing, we take a simpler route and wish for something close to our hearts. Most likely your fairy godmother won't magically appear out of a pumpkin and grant you your wish but the next time you rub your eye to find an eyelash think about what it is you are wishing for and know that you have the power to make that wish come true. Like they all say, knowing is half the battle...so once you find out what it is you truly want, go for it. No matter how much we believe in fate controlling the strings of our puppet show life, nothing and no one has as much as power as we do. We are the sole reason for change in our lives. Once you realize what it is that matters most in your life, start to make your wish a reality.
